The verabob drill bits with vacuum-brazed diamond coating for maximum drilling performance. Vacuum brazing is a material joining process which offers significant advantages in terms of cleanliness, joint strength and integrity making the verabob drills durable and convenient to use.They are used where conventional carbide or diamond drills reach their limits. The verabob drill bits diamond tile drills are filled with wax that melts during drilling - this keeps the diamonds cool meaning there is no need to apply a secondary coolant such as water. The fully exposed diamonds are vacuum brazed directly to the tip of the drill,so work efficiently and cleanly with verabob drill bit. Verabob Diamond core bits fit all drillers and are suitable for superior dry cutting of tile, fibre glass, ceramics, porcelain, marble, granite and brick up to 35mm thick. The diamond coated tooth design and cut-out slots help to reduce the temperature while cutting, and therefore extends the life of the blade which allows it to make more holes before replacement. Tips:- Mark the tile and place the drill tip at a 45-degree angle
- Start drilling and level the drill once the tile surface is scored
- Apply water throughout the entire drilling process using a small spray bottle
- Drill using a slight oscillating motion until the hole is complete
- If drilling continuous holes, it is recommended to dip the drill tip in water after each hole to re-solidify the wax
- Do not use unnecessary pressure, the weight of the machine is sufficient
- Use at speeds between 800 - 2000rpm
- For harder tiles use a slower rpm / for softer tiles use a faster rpm
- For horizontal drilling minimal pressure is required.
- For vertical drilling the weight of the machine will give sufficient pressure.
- The tip of the drill bit will become HOT, please handle with care and wear suitable PPE.
